Our Community Can

"Our Community Can" is a community-wide food drive that unites everyone in the fight against hunger.

This year, we will be fighting summer hunger.

Childhood hunger is actually at its worst during the summer months. Low-income families who rely on school meals to nourish their children during the school year are struggle to feed their families.

Harvesters is inviting their partnering agencies to participate in this food drive and I Care, located at our church, is a partnering agency. In cooperation with four other community churches, all food collections collected on behalf of I Care will remain at I Care to distribute locally.
Between July 15 - 22nd, there will be a large cardboard container in the north hallway area for your donations of non-perishable food items.

All I Care churches are participating in this food drive. This is a time of year when donations are routinely down and the numbers served are increasing so your help will be greatly appreciated.

Be a hunger champion. Start shopping now and drop off your donations during our Community Can food drive.
