This popular event is a 60-year tradition usually held in the winter. Pancakes and the trimmings are available all morning until 1:00 in the afternoon.

Funding raised from these events is used for church mission projects, vacation bible school, youth mission and camps, church maintenance, and other local charities and needs.

The Highland Park United Methodist Men also join forces with other Methodist churches, hosting and attending "Wider Area Men's' Meetings" in the fall and spring and attending spiritual rallies each summer. The men participate in the Kansas East Conference potato drops and help repackage potatoes for distribution by local food banks and charity groups.
