Highland Park UMC is hosting a "Grief Class" to be held in the parlor. The speaker will be Suz McIver, Director of Supportive Services with the Center of Hope and Healing at the Midland Care Connection. This class will offer support for those who have experienced a loss in their lives.
The United Methodist Church’s top legislative body will meet at the Oregon Convention Center, the largest convention center in the Pacific Northwest, on May 10-20, 2016.
The Great Plains Annual Conference Session is scheduled for June 1-4 and will be held here in Topeka at the Kansas Expocentre.

The "Big Splash"
Saturday, June 4 from 2 pm - 4 pm
Our annual "Big Splash" will be held on the front and back lawn of the church.
There will be lots of fun summer activities followed by water activities with the Topeka Fire Department. This is the kick-off for Vacation Bible School that will be held during the week of June 6th.
Kids will learn ways to show God’s love by:
Moving, Acting, Caring, Following, and Sharing!

In January of this year, the Dillons Dollars program our church has been using was replaced by Dillons Community Rewards. It became necessary to create an account with Dillons and assign our church to received community rewards every time you use your Dillons card. To continue to support Highland Park United Methodist Church, you will need to complete this process every January. Remember: Any fuel points you earn from prescriptions or shopping still go to you.
We need volunteers to help run our audio and video systems during services and special events.
