WELCOME TO HIGHLAND PARK UNITED METHODIST CHURCH!
2914 SE MICHIGAN, TOPEKA, KS 66605 ~ 785-266-6555

Welcome to the website of Highland Park United Methodist Church (HPUMC), a vibrant and vital congregation in southeast Topeka Kansas. Though we have a special long term connection to the Highland Park area of Topeka, we have active members throughout Topeka and Shawnee County. We are located at 29th and SE Michigan (map).

SHARE - Wednesday Nights 6 p.m.

We are continuing a Bible Study Titled Mayberry RFD based on the Mayberry Bible Study originated by Joey Fann in 1998. We have been visiting episodes of The Andy Griffith Show and exploring how characters behave. Does their behavior reflect poorly or positively from a Christian perspective?

The study is running on Wednesday evenings starting at 6:00 pm starting with a light dinner and will run until July. We hope you’ll join us for some Mayberry fun and learn a little along the way. We are having a lot of fun with this bible study so it is running for two more weeks. You are welcome to join us at any time.

Beginning Anew Worship Service

We are an all inclusive, very casual, interactive, different kind of worship experience every Saturday night at HPUMC Dawson Hall.

We begin each evening with a community pot luck dinner at 5:30 pm and then at 6 pm we start the PowerPoint presentation with an opening prayer, followed by an opening video. We share scripture, sing songs and the message is given by either Pastor Lynn Lamberty or one of the retired Pastors who are members of Highland Park United Methodist Church.

We want everyone to feel welcome and included, so if you are looking for a church home, or looking for something less than traditional in your worship, please come check us out. We might just be what you are looking for!

Dillons Community Rewards

In January of this year, the Dillons Dollars program our church has been using was replaced by Dillons Community Rewards. It became necessary to create an account with Dillons and assign our church to received community rewards every time you use your Dillons card. To continue to support Highland Park United Methodist Church, you will need to complete this process every January. Remember: Any fuel points you earn from prescriptions or shopping still go to you.

Come Join the Media Team!

We need volunteers to help run our audio and video systems during services and special events.
