Welcome to the website of Highland Park United Methodist Church (HPUMC), a vibrant and vital congregation in southeast Topeka Kansas. Though we have a special long term connection to the Highland Park area of Topeka, we have active members throughout Topeka and Shawnee County. We are located at 29th and SE Michigan (map).
HPUMC strives to be a place where people of all backgrounds, ages, races and economic circumstances can feel welcome, valued and accepted. We believe that we are called by God to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in our community as a group of people and individually through the lives we lead. We don’t claim to have all the answers about God or the challenges people face, but we are constantly seeking more understanding together. Join us on this journey to be closer to God and each other that is the most important one we can make!
